The 101st Festival will showcase Turandot, a tribute to Puccini adorned with remarkable sets and costumes. Alongside this centerpiece, the lineup boasts Tosca, featuring the acclaimed Anna Netrebko, and the much-awaited return of La Bohème after a fourteen-year hiatus.
In addition to these classics, you can enjoy recent productions of Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Carmen, and Aida. Aida, a local favorite, will be presented in two distinct styles: one infused with modern flair and another faithfully re-enacting a classic rendition from 1913.
The festivities extend beyond the stage with special evening events, including performances by renowned artists Roberto Bolle and Plácido Domingo. Immersive concerts featuring the timeless compositions of Vivaldi and the captivating Carmina Burana by Orff promise refreshingly new experiences.
Shows will begin 15 minutes earlier this year, with tickets available for purchase starting August 28th.
