Tips & guidelines
Walk Viale delle Rose to its far end before shooting; looking back compresses roses and distant Scaliger Castle.
Picnic toward the lakeside edge of Grande Tappeto Erboso; fewer people cross there and views stay unobstructed.
Attempt Il Polirinto around midday if photos matter; overhead light sharpens views from the central tower.
Before entering Il Polirinto, agree to regroup by the tower doorway; tall yew walls can momentarily disorient younger visitors.
At I Giardini Acquatici Panoramici, stop in the bridge’s middle; that angle hides shorelines and maximizes mirror-like reflections.
Keep children close on paths edging I Giardini Acquatici Panoramici; wet grass beside the ponds can be unexpectedly slippery.
Inside the panoramic park train, note where Viale delle Rose and Grande Tappeto Erboso lie; you’ll plan walking loops smarter.
Treat the clearing around Eremo di Laura as a chapel space; lower voices and silence phone notifications before entering.
At Il Cimitero dei Cani, follow the short loop quietly and avoid photos of inscriptions; it’s maintained as a family memorial.
When photographing La Grande Quercia, step back beyond its drip line; that distance finally fits the 40m canopy span.
Time the Panoramica terrace viewpoint for late afternoon; low sun over the Mincio Valley softens contrasts and deepens foliage colors.

I did not know Verona had so many beautiful churches, and with the pass I was able to enter every one I wanted and get the audio guide. It allowed me to visit places I wast not even expecting to see.
If you are planning to visit the main attractions, the Verona Card is absolutely worth it. But definitely give the lesser known spots a chance too , they will not disappoint.

It's a very large park, perfect for relaxing and spending time with the family. There's a small train and a quad bike for four people that you can rent at the entrance.
If I'd known the park was this big, I would have rented the quad bike or taken the train—which takes 30 minutes—to see the whole park. I didn't take it at first because it was very crowded over Easter.
I recommend visiting, but be sure to take the train or rent the quad bike.
