Gardaland theme park is one of the top theme parks in Italy. Located in the Castelnuovo del Garda commune near Verona, it is packed with rides and attractions. But, as a theme park that caters to both adults and children, there are some park rules and regulations in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Ride restrictions

  • The rides are all subject to minimum height and age restrictions.
  • For some rides, there are also maximum height and age restrictions. 
  • There are health restrictions on some rides for guests with heart conditions, pregnant guests, etc. 
  • A number of rides are designed just for children, such as Doremifarm, Ortobruco Tour, Mr. Ping's Noodle Surprise and more.

Personal belongings

  • During park hours, you can keep your luggage, suitcases, bags, helmets, and packages in the cloakroom near the Ticket Office Area or at the West Information Office.
  • Food and drink also cannot be stored in the deposit areas.
  • Bags that can be carried on the shoulders can be taken inside the park.
  • Do not store valuables like jewelry, wallets, phones, video cameras, etc. in the cloakroom.
  • Head to the "Welcome" Information Office at the Ticket Office Area the "West" Information Office in the West Village for assistance with lost belongings.

Visiting with children

  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Get bracelets at the entrance with your child’s name and your phone number so that they can be easily found if lost.
  • For children less than 110cm tall, you can rent out a stroller from the Information Office for a fee of €5 per day.
  • A nursery with a nappy-changing area, high chairs, etc. is located in the Fantasy Kingdom area.

Guests with disabilities

  • There are many rides that can be accessed by guests with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
  • Guests with disabilities can use the Park Guide to check which rides are specifically suited to their needs.
  • There are demarcated areas for guests with disabilities to easily view all the shows.
  • There are also designated parking spots for guests with disabilities.

Pets and guide dogs

  • Pet dogs and guide dogs are welcome inside the park, but not inside LEGOLAND® Water Park. Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium permits only guide dogs inside. 
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash and, if large, must also wear a muzzle.
  • They cannot get on any rides or access the shows. In restaurants, they are only permitted in areas demarcated by the staff.

Forbidden items

  • Entry with bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, etc. is prohibited.
  • Knives, scissors, and/or other sharp objects of various types are not allowed inside the park.
  • Firearms and other dangerous materials cannot be brought into the theme park.
  • Outside food and beverages, alcohol, and glassware are not permitted in the park.

Parking

  • There is a paid parking space available at Gardaland Theme Park.
  • It costs €6 per day for cars and campervans; motorcycles and buses can park for free.

Smoking

  • Smoking is not allowed in the park except in designated smoking areas.
  • Smoking is also not allowed whilst queuing for attractions and shows.

Re-Entry

  • If you want to leave the park momentarily and return later, you can have a “pass” stamp affixed at the entrance/exit turnstiles.
