Getting to Gardaland by public transportation

Best For: Saving time
Travel time: 15 minutes (from Verona Porta Nuovo)
Nearest station: Peschiera del Garda (2 km)
Timing: Trains operate daily, departing after 5:30am until close to midnight. For full timings, it is advisable to check the train tickets and schedule.

  • Take Regionale, Frecciarossa, Trenord or Italo trains from Verona Port Nuovo station and ride 15-20  minutes to disembark at Peschiera del Garda. From there, Gardaland is only 2 km away.
  • From the train station station, there is a free shuttle bus that plies every 30 mins to and from Gardaland. 

Best for: Budget travel
Travel time: 20 minutes (from Pescheira del Garda Station)
Nearest stop: Gardaland (150 m)
Timings: Buses in Verona run from 5am till midnight. The shuttle bus begins half an hour before Gardaland opening time and goes on until half an hour post closing time.

  • Bus numbers 484, 483 and 164 towards Malcesine Autostazione stop at Gardaland
  • After reaching the Gardaland stop, walk two minutes to reach the park entrance.
  • Alternatively, take the free shuttle bus from Pescheira del Garda station. The first bus leaves 30 minutes before Gardaland opening hours, and the last one leaves 30 minutes after park closure.

Travel time: 10-12 minutes (From Pescheira del Garda)
Distance: 5.4 km

  • Driving to Gardaland Via Derna is the best choice from Pescheira del Garda. You can also opt to drive via Milano, where the route is slightly longer but less congested.
  • The most scenic (but also the longest) route is Via XXV Aprile.
  • If you’re coming from Milan or Venice, take the A4 Milan-Venice motorway, and from Modena or Brenner, take the A22 Brenner Motorway and exit at Sommacampagna or the Peschiera del Garda.

You can park your car or campervan inside Gardaland for €6 a day. Parking for motorcycles and buses is free.
